Some great qualities, but some not so much. by Honest Abe - posted on 2/21/2016
I've been curious about the wedge blade for some time, then had a need to pry something. Since the profits go to a great cause, I purchased one. First off, it has a real, ready to use bottle opener- not a skinny, less efficient can opener hybrid that needs to be folded out. The thumb lever is impressive, the edges have been softened so it doesn't catch on clothes, is comfortable on the thumb and the wedge shape works better than most knobs. The G-10 casing makes the knife much lighter and more pocket friendly; however it has a noisy hollow sound when used by rough hands. Finally- this has the sharpest out of the box blade I have ever seen. It is so fine that when, in a pinch, I had to use it to simply pry a staple out of some documents it blunted the tip and left a divot in the blade! Since this is a wedge, a V-style sharpener won't work. It will need one sided treatment from a stone or perhaps a bench grinder- we'll see how that goes.

Cool, but the clip isn't fantastic by Alex - posted on 1/11/2016
My clip also broke, but mantis sent me another for free. Tom should go on their site and request a replacement. All you need is a small torx bit. Otherwise, it's great.

great blade be careful of the clip by Tom Roden - posted on 4/7/2015
The only bad thing about this knife is the clip. It bent out of shape and then finally broke off all together . Great blade. Keeps an edge and cuts though just about anything
