Excellent shooting rest, but definately not for magnum rifles. by TACP-JTAC - posted on 11/26/2016
I received this rest for Christmas last year. I like it a lot, it is an excellent rifle rest, especially for AR and AK type rifles. However, it isn't stout enough for magnum rifles. After 10 magnum rounds the threaded insert for the rear leg adjustment was torn free from the steel plate rendering the adjustment screw useless. The stitching on the nylon butt strap is also breaking free. The biggest kick in the teeth is the padding on the butt stock rest is entirely too thin and doesn't cover the back of the steel plate. This resulted in one hell of a gouge in the stock of my Weatherby Mark V Deluxe! Not happy!

I can fix all these problems, but they should not have developed into problems in the first place.
