I would absolutely recommend. by Radar - posted on 4/1/2017
Very versatile, comfortable and well made. Allows you to find just the right position for whatever the situation. Holds weapon securely and close to body for a truly minimal profile. Holster itself runs a little small.

Decent holster but needs some modification before you use it. by Tyler - posted on 9/5/2016
Note about sizing, the small version is a little too small for a Ruger LC9s, even with the flush magazine. Far to small for a M&P Shield.

The shoulder strap stretches, quite a bit, to the point that the holster seems to bounce more than I would like as I walk or traverse stairs. The shoulder strap is made from a very thin, comfortable, silky material. Which introduces the next problem. The strap length adjustment (because the material is so smooth) does not stay in place. Expect to have to use a safety pin to to keep the adjustment where you want it.

Other than making sure you get a big enough size to fit your pistol and modifying the shoulder strap this seems to be a very decent holster.

Consider adding a magazine pouch to the other side. This will reduce the perceived bulk under one arm and help counter the tendency of the rig to rotate putting the pistol in more of a chest position than on your side as you move and bend over throughout the day.

Great for some thing, bit great for others by Bob - posted on 8/31/2016
I prefer a different holster for EDC. This holster is too bulky for everyday wear. But it is FANTASTIC when running, jogging, or doing work outside. If you're into fitness or running, this keeps the gun in place, doesnt bounce or move, and doesn't get in the way.

Great product, just wish would fit. by greedygoat - posted on 7/9/2016
Like many others need larger sizes. I have a 54" chest, 46" would be very uncomfortable.

Better materials choice would increase situational uses by Robert - posted on 3/28/2016
I like the general design of the NRA Pistol Wear Convertible Security Holster. My issue is with the materials used. My main disappointment is that wearing the holster on skin under (albeit not shown or mentioned) a shirt results in profuse sweating in warm weather. The black cloth on the inside seems to be rubberized and does not breath. The sweat transfers to a shirt creating a observable and potential suspician of a holster underneath. Solving this issue would make the holster near perfect for the purpose I seek.

I use it daily as a shoulder holster and can't imagine anything better! by ibuyswgr - posted on 12/17/2015
Ok, I have to modify my earlier review. I stumbled across the actual directions, god forbid I should read them.... I misplaced the shoulder strap, and reset it everyday. Following the directions with the shoulder strap only over my left shoulder and using the snaps to take it on and off, it requires no adjustment and I have to say for the weight of my mdl 60 S&W I can't imagine a more secure, more comfortable holster. If you are going to carry every day, and you should- I can't imagine a more comfortable, secure, easy to wear holster. Just a note about carrying every day... If you are only going to carry when you think you "might need it", maybe you should reconsider your travel plans.

Very good for daily wear. by Dan - posted on 11/20/2015
Overall very good. I carry a 380 Sig at 1.6 lb. loaded & it stays nice & snug to my torso when worn as a shoulder rig. No flopping around when active & still comfortable to wear all day. The shoulder strap adjustment tends to slip a little. Replacing the elastic strap with a non-stretching adjustable strap would be a worthwhile improvement. A model specific holster would be nice, but the current design does keep the firearm extremely secure. Definitely one of the better rigs I've used.

I love this! by ibuyswgr - posted on 9/15/2015
I carry a Smith Model 60 .357 mag with crimson trace grips in the subcompact version everyday. I wear a t-shirt with a button down shirt over it and it's comfortable, doesn't print and provides easy access. The model 60 is a bit of a tight fit, but it's secure and comfortable. I've also carried a sig p238 and smith .380 bodyguard, but I prefer the mdl 60 for the stopping power.
In the summer it can get a little warm, but it's a small price to pay. My only complaint is the Velcro shoulder strap slips and I found myself adjusting it until I just put a safety pin through it. .

Springfield XD Mod-2/Female and Concealment by Carolyn - posted on 8/28/2015
I am a female and was looking for a solution to be able to wear tight or tucked in clothing and still be concealed. I ordered the standard size for my Springfield XD Mod-2. It does fit very snuggly and you could not tell at all that the slight bulge on my side was a gun.

I know the pouch really isn't made for the Mod-2 so I can't say that it is horrible. It would be helpful though to increase the size of the pouch for these guns or extended magazines at the butt end of the pouch. It would make it easier to re-holster these guns or the ability to carry an extra magazine.

Anyway, thanks so much NRA for this invention. It is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for to be more comfortable carrying.

Great all season holster by FVinSLC - posted on 7/27/2015
I've used a belly band for a few years for the versatility and ease, but this is an improvement compared to other belly bands. This works great worn under arm, on the belly or in pants. I was concerned how hot it would be when I first received it but it has proven to be excellent and effective at preventing sweat build up, I even cycle with it and it still has no issues with sweat against my clothes. I hand wash it every week and it is just like new. I've been impressed with this holster and would recommend it. My only issue is that the holster has an area that could catch if/when i need to draw but can easily be dealt with depending on what you carry and practice
