An Army Ranger friend of ours stopped by NRA Headquarters after an Iraq tour and the conversation turned to knives. When we asked him what he carried in Iraq he reached in his pocket and pulled out the SOG Trident. We knew right then we needed to get them on board for our members. This knife features SOG Assisted Technology and snaps open with just a push on the blade. The 3.75 inch, cryogenically heat treated Titanium Nitride coated blade is a product of evolution. It's aggressively styled and designed for any use you can throw at it. The handle features Digi-Grip's technology so there is a coarser grip in the areas where it is required. The bayonet style clip is easily switched for right/left hand carry. Now using the patent pending Arc-Actuator, the Trident locks stronger and releases easier than ordinary knives. All in all one heck of a knife. Includes manufacturer's lifetime warranty. Now available in Digital Camo and Desert Digital Camo. Assembled in USA.

Good Knife. by Terrell - posted on 8/28/2015
I just bought my second one. Love the knife but don't like the safety lock. It keeps locking by itself. Very easy one hand open and close which is important to me at work where my hands are usually full when I need to cut something. I would highly recommend this knife.

Excellent product by Gerry - posted on 6/21/2015
I bought all three knives for use at work (I am in the US Merchant Marine). My shipmates from time to time "borrowed" two of them from me. After using them at sea under harsh conditions, the vote from us all, however, gave the knives four to five stars.

The blades, however, do not open as smoothly and easily as your demonstration film depicts.

Great knife but flawed by BD - posted on 6/15/2015
This knife is very sharp and I love the assisted opening. There are a few thing I do not like about it though. The reversible belt clip is great except for the fact the pant material gets caught in the top of the clip and is very hard to pull out of your pocket with speed. I like that it is reversible for both left and right handed people, but the top needs to be blocked off to keep from getting stuck on your pocket.

The seatbelt cutter also is a great thought but gets caught on my pants when putting the knife in my pocket. I would love to see if SOG would come out with a knife that addresses these issues. I would definitely buy one.

Love it! by Outdoors.ok - posted on 4/28/2015
I've had this knife for approx. 2 years and absolutely love it. It's always with me, which says a lot....since I own at least 25+ knives. It holds an edge well. Flips open one-handed easier than most that claim to. I've subjected it to all kinds of weather and no hint of corrosion as yet. The serrated edge is a bonus and extremely sharp and durable.

Overpriced and not durable by Steven - posted on 4/22/2015
SOG is a great brand, the best knife I've ever owned was a SOG SEAL team Elite. So when I saw that this knife was also a SOG, I was too quick to jump the gun and order it. Unfortunately, this knife is no where near the quality that I have come to expect from SOG. I did not have this knife for much more than 2-3 months before the tip of it broke off. I had not really used it but maybe a total of 7-8 times, and that was for small normal duty tasks. With this knife being almost the same price that I paid for my SEAL team Elite, I expected similar durability, but it was no where near the same quality of steel. So for the quality of this knife, it is over priced.
